French toast is simple to make, CHEAP, quick, easy, healthy and delicious. What more could you want?
Take one med size egg and scramble in wide bowl. Tip one slice of bread (your choice) , both sides to cover, then let sit to soak up while you prepare the pan. Melt about 1 Tbs butter in a pan. Once sizzling, reduce heat to medium and carefully add slice of bread. Cook slowly, flipping as needed. Add syrup, cinnamon/sugar mix or jelly for a quick morning meal. An alternative to using syrups or sweeteners is to make it with raisin bread or banana bread. Yum!
